This Privacy Policy describes how SIE Exam Ready (“we”, “our”, or “the Service”), operated by Plus 44 Pty Ltd, collects, uses, and protects your information.
1. Information We Collect
We collect:
- Account information. Email, password (hashed), and an optional name when you sign up.
- Progress data. Questions attempted, scores, and study guide pages completed, used to sync your progress across devices and show your readiness.
- Payment information. Processed by our payment providers (RevenueCat, and Apple or Google in-app purchases on mobile, Stripe on the web). We never receive or store your full card number.
- Usage data. Anonymous usage information such as page views, feature use, and device type, collected via Google Analytics / Firebase Analytics.
2. How We Use Information
We use your information to:
- Authenticate your account and manage your session
- Keep your study progress in sync across your devices
- Process payments and manage your subscription
- Send essential account-related communications (receipts, password resets)
- Understand feature usage and fix bugs to improve the Service
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell or trade your personal data. We share the minimum information needed with the sub-processors that run the Service:
- Supabase, for authentication and database
- RevenueCat, Apple, and Google, for payments
- Google Analytics / Firebase, for anonymous analytics
- An email provider, for transactional email delivery
4. Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in and to measure anonymous usage. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the settings page, which removes your progress and personal details from our database. Anonymous analytics data may be retained as needed to understand aggregate usage.
6. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including under Australian privacy law, GDPR, and CCPA), you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or to object to its processing. You can email us to make a request.
